I’m Tess Belke (she/her), a maker, mother and designer from a small town nestled next to the North Saskatchewan River in Alberta, Canada. I live in a cozy home with my husband and two little girls, Molly and Alex, who I named Almo Studio after.

After years of working at design agencies I decided not to return after taking leave when my first daughter was born. I’m so glad to have returned to the world of design, and am happy to have made the move from branding and marketing to surface design and art licensing.

My work is influenced by my graphic design background, a deep love of handmade and vintage, and the time spent with my two little girls. I strive to create pieces that bring a little bit of magic to your home and life, making the every day a tiny bit cozier, cuter and just a little bit more special.
